I have jd new balance a pair of Asics Trail shoes and they are better for just running on the tread..And they are lighter..Like them both and they look good just wearing them out on the town. Saw a guy I knew in Wal Mart today and he was wearing those clog shoes for men..Didn;t say anything but those things look really lame or gay or both couldn't decide but not for me!Heh. My one serviceable pair of non-dressy shoes is New Balance 621. However, I did not buy them for any of the politically-correct reasons mentioned. I bought them because they were plain and boring looking. They do not look like little spaceships of my feet.

The reason being that if combined with pants all that comes to show from the logo is the "N" in "New Balance", which, since it is put onto the shoes at a 45° angle, looks somewhat reminiscient of the SS-rune symbol as worn by Himmler's (sic! Hitler was the other jd sports new balance guy =Ø Þ vicious elite suqad.i just got my first pair of running shoes in 20 years and they are exactly the ones in the picture. it made me laugh. although not white, i can perhaps share some insight about the attraction white people may feel toward new balance, since i found myself going through maroon new balance a similar thought process before deciding on these shoes i thought may inspire jogging.

I still haven't jogged in them.For real, for real (negro slang), I live in Baltimore, and every n@gga I know has a pair of New Balances. The 993's is the sh@ts everybody got, I think. I don't own a pair, cause my money been funny for, like, six months. The real reason I don't own a pair, I guess, is that I kinda think they look like shoes that exotic-coffee drinkin'- dog kissin' in the mouth- joggin' three o'clock in the mornin'-yuppie white people would wear. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Except, maybe, the mens white new balance "kissing dogs in the mouth" thing. That's disgusting.

Mizuno, Saucony, and Brooks are trash niche brands. Check NB's NBx line  many people are wearing those. People who run are sporting NB, Asics, and Avia  brands with REALLY good tech.I wear ASICS or New Balance and refuse to wear Nikes because of their shonky trade practices. Whenever I go to the gym and I'm sizing someone up to see if they're worthy of my respect I always look at their shoes. If I see a good looking chick who I would usually think is too good for me one look at their Nike clad feet immediately makes me feel morally superior. However, it's disconcerting to notice that a lot of non-white people wear Nikes.

But my primary interest is comfort; appearance, especially ostentatiousness, is for the young and "urban".New balance may be the ugliest trainers ever but, they are one of the most comfortable running shoes out there along side Asics&Nike.
