As LeBron spent so much time nike sb in the post season that year, it was only fitting that his on-feet offerings morphed at that juncture to provide a silhouette better fitted for the post-season push. Thus was born the Nike Elite Basketball line, a trio of models that included the reinforced Nike LeBron 9 Elite. That same shoe would be doubled up on for LeBron James first ever Championship Pack set of sneakers.

Our 11 Days of Nike LeBron series has brought us all the way here, to the 2012/13 entry the Nike LeBron X . The shoe made its debut on the grandest of stages-the 2012 post-season was no normal one for LeBron as he headed out to London to represent for Team USA in the 2012 Summer Olympics. The eventual gold medal game that the world had anticipated saw him nike running shoes bring out the Nike LeBron X at last, an event that coincided with Nike s official unveil of the shoe in that USA flavored, gold tinted colorway.

Of course that wasn t the only momentous occasion that the shoe would be forever attached to-it also took LeBron nike cortez to his second championship in as many years (An even that resulted in the much lusted over  Championship Pack ).The story of the LeBron 10 was one of pressure and time, and the outcome of those forces. This diamond theme manifested itself via both the polygonal shapes cut out on the shoe s upper and the colorways inspired by precious stones (The  Crown Jewel among them being the first to hit retail). Just as important as those though were the EXT versions of the shoe.

Will there also be an EXT nike flyknit range in the future to complement the off-court category? We d certainly assume so given the success of the likes of last year s  Cork and  Denim pairs. Will the Nike LeBron line be switching to Elite mode again in the post-season? The chances of the Heat not making the playoffs seem ridiculously low at this point, so LeBron will definitely need a post-season shoe.

Continuing our 11 Days of Nike LeBron series, we re today examining the second shoe in King James history of on-court silhouettes. The Nike Zoom LeBron II showed a bit more commitment to the young recruit even on its box tag-this being the first shoe to actually have  LeBron in its name. The sneaker in some ways reflected LeBron s growing up in the league, as the Nike Zoom LeBron II was all of a sudden a much bulkier shoe than the previous iteration-gaining three ounces in total weight and this time featuring a strapped-up design. The extra heft coincided with a bigger, better Bron, one who was becoming more and nike air more comfortable in league.

Where the sneaker did take strides was in its overall number of releases. Between the high and the low versions the Nike Zoom LeBron III had around sixteen colorways-that ballooned number finally suggesting that Nike believed sneaker acolytes were ready to support LeBron s line en masse. Amongst those were plenty of special editions: Nike LeBron III  All Star was on feet for James as he grabbed his first MVP award in that game, the  Kid colorway was pulled from the LeBrons commercials, and that brown/gold made sure he had appropriate birthday footwear.
